In order to better enhance brand influence, increase the promotion of pumpkin planting technology, and shape the "new business card" of Zhelin's brand agriculture, the opening ceremony of the second Ailige Pumpkin Festival was held grandly at the Ainiwei Agricultural Products Professional Cooperative in Zhelin Town on the afternoon of September 27th. Yuan Chunqing, former deputy leader of the Central Rural Work Leading Group, Zeng Yi, general manager of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd., Wang Jiandong, standing committee member and deputy district chief of Fengxian District Committee, Song Jianguo, president of Tai'an Agricultural Insurance Research Institute and deputy general manager of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd., Li Qiudi, director of Fengxian District Agriculture and Rural Committee, and Xiang Hua, secretary of the Party Committee of Zhelin Town, were invited to attend the opening ceremony.

It is reported that the Elgin pumpkin is originally from New Zealand and was first introduced to China by Shanghai Caoye Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. The company is committed to the development of the entire industry with pumpkin as the theme, and has multiple institutions under its umbrella, including the "Arrich Pumpkin Research Institute", "Xinjiang Arrich Biotechnology Co., Ltd.", and "Ainiwei Agricultural Products Professional Cooperative". In 2019, Caoye Agriculture and the School of Agriculture and Biology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University established the Pumpkin Breeding Technology Center. In the same year, the Elgin pumpkin was successfully selected for the national "Famous, Special, Excellent and New" agricultural product list. The holding of the Ellige Pumpkin Festival is also a practical exploration for enterprises to use "pumpkin" as a medium to sing, actively integrate into the rural revitalization strategy, expand their brand awareness, further promote pumpkin culture, and promote the integrated promotion and development of agriculture and tourism industries.
